    Best Subdivision in Baton Rouge
    In my opinion, Shenandoah Estates is one of the best neighborhoods in Baton Rouge. There are so many amenities including Antioch Boulevard Park (BREC) which has a recreation center, walking loop/track, playground, pavilion and multiple fields and courts. Southern Oaks Athletic Facility is at the main entrance of Shenandoah. SOAC is a great family athletic center that includes a pool, gym, exercise classes, kitchen and so much more.

    Schools located in Shenandoah Estates include St Andrews United Methodist Church Preschool program, Shenandoah Elementary School for kindergarten through fifth grade, and St Michaels the Archangel High School for 9-12 grade.

    Shenandoah Estates is easily accessible with entrances from Jones Creek Road, George Oneal Road, and Tiger Bend Road. The location is close to several restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores. It's also minutes from I-12.

    Like a Large Neighborhood?
    Shenandoah Estates has a wide range of homes - from small starter homes to large homes executive type homes -a pretty wide price and age range too! It is such fun to ride bicycles through the subdivision or walk on the sidewalks - you can certainly get in your exercise without leaving the subdivision. Prices on the upper end won't exceed $400K and on the lower end you can find garden homes for $170ish and townhouses for even less. The Southern Oaks Athletic Club with pool and tennis courts is at the front of the subdivision - and the subdivision entrance is practically across the street from Jones Creek Library. Shenandoah Elementary Shool has received good reviews, too! Nearby are three grocery stores, strip mall shopping and plenty of fast food places and restaurants and Grand Cinema movie theater.
