In recent years, Boudin has taken on several other forms such as Boudin egg rolls, breaded and fried Boudin, and many more Boudin creations.   • Not only is Scott an extremely nice place to live, but another honor has been added to the city. The Scott Boudin Festival recently racked up awards at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Convention held February 6-8th in Baton Rouge. The festival won Best New Event of the Year, Best Pin and Best Festival T-Shirt in its division. This may seem like a small feat but considering that this Festival came into existence in 2013 and the sheer number of Festivals Acadiana hosts every season, it is a big deal.   • "Where the West Begins and Hospitality Never Ends." Scott is located west of Lafayette, approximately 40 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico and at exit 97 of I-10. Our welcome center is located in our traffic circle at I-10, just look for the 100 year old Acadian home nestled in its' own little park as you enter the circle. Scott has three parks within its city limits for family fun and games. Cajun and Creole French music and dancing are alive and vibrant in Scott along with plenty of Gumbo, Jambalaya, Boudin and Cracklins. "Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler" (Let the good times roll)
