If you're interested in sandwiching in an exciting few weeks of your child's summer to explore the art of dance or enhance year-round training, I encourage you to consider enrolling in the Carol Anglin Dancenter's Summer Camp. Two workshops will be offered between June 20th and July 1st for ages 3-16. Carol's conservatory-style school is conveniently located in Pierremont Mall, a staple of Northwest Louisiana's historic shopping scene, along the city's Line Avenue Corridor. If you get time, check out one of South Shreveport's favorite breakfast themed restaurants, Another Broken Egg. Serving amazing breakfast food from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm daily, Another Broken Egg is sure to cure your morning hunger. I just ate "The Supreme" omelet, and I am stuffed!

Brookshires on Line Avenue at Pierremont
I had an open house scheduled yesterday in beautiful Southern Hills. I decided to pick up a few red, white and blue balloons to complement the RE/MAX signature patriotic balloons that I was attaching to our directional signs. However, I ran into a challenge when I discovered that both of the stores where I usually find balloons were out of business. I ventured west on Pierremont where it intersects with Line Avenue to the Brookshire's grocery store. This was a saving grace and I found the appropriate balloons! I also discovered some wonderful renovations to the shopping area that I'll share in a later post.
